Windjak’s New Home

     The Windjak is just now settling down in it new home in Sunny (but currently rainy) Southern California. The boat made it’s trip from Michigan just about a week ago. The Udell population in California is now 2. The first and last Udell’s built to date, one being made of wood and the other fiberglass. We can’t wait to get the Windjak a little wet see how she sails.

100 Year Anniversary

Super Mega Event in Sweden 2008

       This is event as far as we know at this point will be held by The Royal Swedish Yacht Club (KSSS) in Saltsjobaden, 20 minutes outside Stockholm, the capitol of Sweden. The event will include International Swedish Championships for A22 and legendary Skerry Cruisers Cup, invented in 1910. A22 sailing the Cup since 1933. Also an International European Cup for SK30. There will also be regattas for all square meter classes.

New Udells

     Things are looking good to see some new Udells produced in the near future. A royalty fee has been agreed upon with the Reimers family. Currently the Auf Wiedersehen is finishing up her paper work, verifying her as an official Udell 22 square meter and then work will begin with the tooling of the yacht.
